The CCT officials under the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development were in GIREI L.G.A of Adamawa state today, as part of their efforts to discharge the presidential order towards cushioning the effect of COVID-19 pandemic/hardship to the vulnerable Nigerians.
So far, in GIREI L.G.A we have 3,603 beneficiaries cut across five (5) wards which are; GIREI 1, GIREI 2, Wuro-Dole, Damare and Dakri. This figure is based on the social investment program (SIP) data of 2017.
Also, this afternoon, the 6th of April, 2020 the CCT officials were in Wuro-Dole Ward, (JABBI-LAMBA) to be specific for the ongoing disbursement of the CCT to the vulnerable.
In JABBI-LAMBA area of Wuro-Dole ward were we have 864 registered beneficiaries across 19 communities and they have all gotten their entitlements in arrears.
Consequently, while applauding and appreciating the A.PC lead Federal Government for the timely intervention, I wish to call on all the CCT/SIP beneficiaries to utilize what they have gotten to cushioning their hardship and also to continue supporting the policies and programs for the federal government.
THANK YOU PMB! The man of honour and integrity!!!
