The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has called on all Muslims in the state to take advantage of the 2020 Ramadan fast to intensify prayers for God to intervene and heal the land of the dreaded novel Covid-19 (Corona Virus) pandemic.
Senator Jibrilla made the call in a special Ramadan message which he personally signed.
“As people of faith, we believe that their is nothing beyond the power of Allah, therefore we must return to Allah at this trying times especially when scientific evidence shows that the Covid-19 infection has no known cure nor vaccine”.
Bindow called on all Adamawa people to be patient with Government’s decisions, as hard as it might seem, drastic situations as it is said call for drastic measures, adding that this is a sacrifice we must all make to curtail the spread of the disease.
Senator Bindow expressed his gratitude to Allah on hearing that the index case is clinically stable, he prayed for the quick recovery of the index case of the infection in Adamawa state.
