Hon. Awwal commiserates with Hajiya Hauwa Koma over death of father

Hon Awwal Tukur (Wakili Ganye), has expressed deep condolences to Hajiya Hawwa Koma over the death of her father, Hammanjoda Hammanjalo, the district head of Koma.

The late district head died last Saturday at the age of 97 after a brief illness.

Hammanjalo who is one of the oldest traditional rulers in the history of the state, served as district head of Koma in Jada local government for 47 years.

Commiserating with the people of Jada local government and Adamawa State, Awwal said the death of the traditional ruler has left a gaping cleavage that will be difficult to fill.

He said the state will sorely miss the wisdom of the revered leader who has ensured peaceful coexistence between the diverse people of his domain.

Awwal who said he was personally touched by the demise of the late traditional ruler said he took solace knowing that the late district head has served God and humanity diligently while alive.

" The late district head is a father to all, a lover of peace and an uncommon traditional ruler whose tenacity to the course of justice and fair play ensured everlasting peace between the diverse peoples.

" In his death, Adamawa State has lost a rare gem whose sterling contribution towards the betterment of humanity is phenomenal.

"May his gentle soul rest in Jannatul Firdaus," Awwal said.
