Former Adamawa lawmaker becomes APC candidate of Jada LGA
The immediate past Lawmaker to have represented the people of Jada/Mbula constituency in the Adamawa state House of Assembly,Umar Hammanjoda won the primary election of Jada for the coming LGA election in the state.
Umar who won the election with a gap of 5 and polled a total scores of 147 while his closest opponent, Umar Calculate Jada polled 142 second next to him.
Umar told our reporter in Jada that his decision to contest the local government election is his hope to rebuilt democracy devidends to the people in the grassroots.
“I’m a grassroot politicians and my kind of politics is always connected to the real voters,meeting them one on one, hearing their plights meeting up their needs as much of little I can.
” I have staked in my everything for their sake and the downtrodden all my life and for this, it will never be different. ” Umar said
