SENATOR AISHATU AHMED BINANI (ADAMAWA CENTRAL)


Distinguished Senator Binani leads NUC/NASS delegation to Yola.

In line with the prayers of the motion sponsored by Senator Aishatu Binani on the urgent need to establish a Medical School and a Teaching Hospital in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, Distinguished Senator Binani this evening led an on~ground assessment delegation to Yola. The team which comprises National University Commission representatives and  Senators from Adamawa Taraba would be in Yola for a two-day assessment visit.

While in Yola, Aishatu Binani is expected to take the team to MAUTECH and FMC Yola as well as other places that concerns the realization of the Teaching Hospital project. Senator Binani is also expected to lead the team to Adamawa State Governor, His Excellency Ahmadu Fintiri on a courtesy visit.

It could be recalled that Aishatu Binani has been rallying support across board for her dear project of Upgrading FMC, Yola to the status of a Teaching Hospital. The Senator had earlier  led the University Management on a solidarity visit to the Senate President as well as the NUC Executive Secretary Prof A.A Rasheed. Similarly, Senator Binani has already gotten the nod of overwhelming Senators of the red Chambers.
